We believe in empowering people affected by HIV with healthcare, confidence, livelihood support & respect, creating a community where every individual can live with dignity and without discrimination.

Nithya Jeevana Network of Positive People Ballary, established in 2005 by M. Hemalatha, is a non-profit organisation dedicated to supporting people living with HIV (PLHIV) with dignity, respect and equal opportunity. Based in Ballari, Karnataka, the organisation provides holistic support that extends beyond medical care, offering nutrition and education for children, counselling for youth and the elderly, micro-loans and livelihood assistance for women, and focused support for widows, transgender individuals and sex workers who often face social and economic exclusion. The organisation also works to prevent mother-to-child transmission, strengthen treatment adherence and promote viral load suppression, contributing to healthier individuals and stronger communities. Guided by the values of compassion, dignity, integrity, empowerment and inclusivity, Nithya Jeevana Network of Positive People Ballary strives to eliminate stigma, build awareness and create a society where every individual affected by HIV can live with hope, opportunity and independence.
